Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole Set To Launch Solo CareerApril 27, 2009
Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is set to record her first batch of solo material.
Cole, who is also a judge on the talent contest The X Factor, is scheduled to work with a number of different producers later this year. "Cheryl is going to work on some solo music - there is no release date set for this yet as she has not recorded any music," a spokesman told the BBC. The spokesman added Cole's solo career would form part of “time out” from the chart-topping girl group. Girls Aloud are due to release three more studio albums as part of their existing record deal. Cole has previously collaborated with Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am. Various producers, including Frankmusik, have been linked to her solo project.
