Wyclef Jean: I Have No Idea Who Shot MeMarch 21, 2011
Wyclef Jean has admitted that he has no idea who shot him in the hand in Haiti over the weekend.
The singer was shot in the hand on Saturday night (March 19) whilst out in the Haitian city of Delmas. "I got out of the car and heard gunfire. The next I noticed there was blood on my shirt and sneakers. I have no idea who fired the rounds or whether they were shooting at me," Jean told the Daily Star. The shooting happened on the eve of the presidential elections in Haiti, where Jean was there supporting musician Michel Martelly. No further information about the incident has been released.
