Last Shadow Puppets, The Streets, Tony Christie To Play BBC Electric PromsAugust 21, 2008
The Last Shadow Puppets, The Streets and Nitin Sawhney will headline this years BBC Electric Proms festival.
Tony Christie and Wild Beasts will also play at the event, which will take place in Liverpool and London from October 22nd-26th. It will be the first time that Liverpool has played host to the event and coincides with the city's reign as the European Capital of Culture 2008. Last Shadow Puppets, the side project of Alex Turner and Miles Kane, will perform at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, while The Streets will headline the Roundhouse in London. In total, over 80 artists will perform during the festival, with further headline performances expected over the coming weeks.
