Alex Turner And Dizzee Rascal Celebrate Festival Success TogetherAugust 25, 2008
Dizzee Rascal and Alex Turner embraced backstage at Leeds festival yesterday, just moments after the British grime artist emerged from his hugely successful afternoon set.
The pair were quickly surrounded by a gaggle of photographers and fans, eager to catch on film the meeting of minds from polar ends of the British musical elite. Alex Turner, accompanied by girlfriend Alexa Chung, spent Saturday afternoon lazing in the August bank holiday sunshine with Miles Kane and their band, The Last Shadow Puppets. The Last Shadow Puppets supported the Cribs on the Radio 1/NME stage on Friday night, their epic brand of British indie-rock brought to life by a live string orchestra.
