Paramore's Hayley Williams Releases Solo Song 'In The Mourning'

Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has posted an audio clip of a new song online.

Williams said the song, entitled ‘In The Mourning’, was not a Paramore track, but “something I wrote for fun”.

“A few weeks ago I posted some new lyrics up on Tumblr,” she wrote on the micro-blogging website.

“Wanted to share the melody with anyone who’s asked me to post it. This is just the chorus. I didn’t want to post the full thing yet because I don’t want people thinking it’s a new Paramore song.”

Williams’ decision to post the clip comes just weeks after Paramore’s Josh and Zac Farro quit the group.

At the time, Josh suggested the band had become a solo project for Williams, but the group have vowed to carry on.
