The New York Dolls is an American rock band, formed in New York in 1971. In 2004 the band reformed with three of their original members, two of whom, David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain, continue on today and have released two records of new material. The original bassist, Arthur Kane, died shortly after their first reunion concert. Albums

New York Dolls Dedicate Tonight's KOKO Gig To Malcolm McLarenApril 19, 2010 New York Dolls have confirmed they will dedicate a song to their former manager, the late Malcolm McLaren, at their gig at London's KOKO tonight (April 19). Despite the Icelandic volcano ash halting many UK gigs featuring international acts, the band's KOKO gig will go ahead tonight where they will dedicate 'Jet Boy' to McLaren. Read more

New York Dolls To Debut New Album Live On Jools Holland TV ShowApril 27, 2009 New York Dolls will debut material from their new album during an appearance on Later with Jools Holland next week.
