Michael Jackson 'Moves Next To Las Vegas School'October 22, 2008
Michael Jackson has reportedly angered parents by moving into a new Las Vegas mansion that's just metres away from a school.
The singer, who was cleared of child molestation charges in 2005, is said to be staying in the area as a guest of casino owner Steve Wynn. One parent told the Sun newspaper that people “didn't want their children near Jacko”. "They say he can see the kids getting on the school bus from his house,” the unnamed parent said. Although Jackson has maintained a low profile since moving to the area last year, fans still congregate outside his Spanish-style villa, the newspaper claims. Mr Wynn is understood to be keen for Jackson to perform a special comeback show in the town. As previously reported, the singer is expected to return to the UK album chart top-10 this weekend as a result of his appearance on The X Factor. Sales of Jackson's 'King of Pop' best of have rocketed after contestants on the reality TV show were asked to sing Jackson's songs for their survival in the competition.
