Information
Metronomy is an electronic music group formed by Joseph Mount in Totnes, Devon, England in 1999. The current band consists of Joseph Mount (composer, singer, keyboards and guitar), Anna Prior (drums), Oscar Cash (saxophone, backing vocals and keyboards) and Gbenga Adelekan (bass guitar and vocals). Their music consists of instrumental electronic music and more recently, with the release of "Nights Out", vocal electronic pop music. Mount also releases remixes under the name Metronomy, and has remixed many artists including Gorillaz, Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, The Young Knives, Zero 7, Ladytron, Kate Nash and Lykke Li. Manic Street Preachers, Metronomy, Slash Join Oxegen Festival 2011 Line-UpApril 19, 2011 Manic Street Preachers, Metronomy and Slash have been added to the line-up for this year's Oxegen festival in Ireland. Coldplay, The Strokes, Black Eyed Peas, The National, The Script, Tinie Tempah and Paolo Nutini will all play at the event, which takes place at Punchestown Racecourse from July 8-10.

Mark Ronson, Metronomy For Ibiza Rocks And Mallorca Rocks 2011April 18, 2011 Mark Ronson and Metronomy are among the new additions to the line-up for this year's Ibiza Rocks and Mallorca Rocks festivals. Darwin Deez, Maverick Sabre, Wretch 32 have also joined the line-up for the event, which takes place at hotels on both Baleric Islands throughout the summer.

Metronomy Announce September UK TourApril 5, 2011 Metronomy have announced details of a UK tour, which is due to kick off in Southampton this September. The band will also play gigs in Leeds (September 21), Manchester (26) and Bristol (28) during the eight-date jaunt.
