The Charlatans' Tim Burgess Records Star-Studded Solo AlbumSeptember 15, 2010
The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess has recorded a star-studded solo album.
The album, which is due out next year, features guest appearances from Ladyhawke, The Horrors guitarist Josh Hayward and Klaxons drummer Stefan Halperin. In an interview with Spinner, Burgess promised the album was “really explosive and it'll be well worth waiting for”. He added: "Musically, it's going to sound like all of our bands put together. “It'll definitely be different from my first solo album because I made that with session musicians from Los Angeles and this is being made with people from New Zealand and London. “It'll have a European flavour with a New Zealand twist." Burgess' debut solo album 'I Believe' was released in 2003. The Charlatans' latest record 'Who We Touch' is out this month.
