Lady Gaga: New Album 'Born The Way' Is Most Innovative Yet

Lady Gaga has spoken in detail about her new album 'Born This Way'.

The singer said the follow-up to 'The Fame Monster' was finished and would be released following a new single in February 2011.

In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, Lady Gaga called the album her “most innovative” yet and said it combined “electronic music with major, epic, dare I even say, metal or rock 'n' roll, pop, anthemic style melodies with really sledge-hammering dance beats”.

She also described the lyrics as “more poetic” than her previously album.

"It's really written by the fans, they really wrote it for me because every night they're funnelling so much into me,” she said. "So I wrote it for them. 'Born This Way' is all about my little monsters and me, mother monster.”

As previously reported, Lady Gaga previewed the new song 'You And I' during her two gigs in London last week.
