Idlewild have announced plans to go on hiatus, blaming a lack of “demand” for their music. The Scottish group are set to take a break at the end of their current gig schedule, which concludes at Dunfermline’s Velocity on May 1.  Read more

Teenage Fanclub, The View and Idlewild are amongst the plethora of bands confirmed for a huge 'homecoming' show in Glasgow next month. Held at the SECC on November 28, 'Homecoming Live – The Final Fling' aims to celebrate Scottish music and features a line-up of bands from the country.  Read more
