Pink Floyd's Roger Waters And David Gilmour Reunite At Charity GigJuly 12, 2010
Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and David Gilmour reunited on stage at a charity gig in Oxfordshire on Saturday (July 10).
The pair performed four songs in front of just 200 guests at the Hoping For Palestine charity gala at Kiddington Hall. It marked the first time Waters and Gilmour had shared the same stage since Pink Floyd's appearance at Live 8 in 2005, and comes only months after Waters said the one-off show was “probably” their last. Backed by four musicians, the pair began their set with 'To Know Him Is To Love Him', which was originally written by Phil Spector. It was followed by 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Comfortably Numb'. Waters and Gilmopur ended their performance with 'Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)' after a member of the audience bid for them to play the song. Tom Jones and Nick Cave also performed at the charity event, while Kate Moss joined The Kills on stage. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Pink Floyd To Reunite? (21.03.2011)
