T.I. Says New Album Is As Significant As Tupac's 'All Eyez On Me'April 16, 2010
T.I. has claimed that his new album ‘King Uncaged’ is as significant as Tupac’s ‘All Eyez On Me’.
Like Tupac’s 1996 Grammy-nominated effort, the rapper’s new album will mark his first release since completing a prison sentence. Speaking to Rolling Stone, T.I. said: “This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then. “Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results.” T.I. added that he wanted his album to “surpass” the expectations set by Tupac’s record. ‘King Uncaged’ is due to be released on August 24.
