Amy Winehouse Told By Public To 'Retire Early'May 30, 2008
Amy Winehouse has been told to retire early by music fans in a new survey published today.
30% - almost a third – of people questioned said that the singer should withdraw from the music industry in order to tackle her problems in private. In the new survey, carried out by xRank, Kylie Minogue was voted the celebrity who was growing old most glamorously. The singer, who this week celebrated her 40th birthday, is the performer that people would most like to see performing into her old age. The survey, which polled 36,000 music fans, saw Madonna come in a close second to Minogue. Paul Stoddart, Live Search UK senior product manager, said: "With so many celebrities reaching milestone birthdays this year, we wanted to get the public's opinion on who they think will still be on top of their game in years to come."
