Leona Lewis Still In Control Of US ChartsMay 23, 2008
Leona Lewis is continuing to dominate the US Billboard Hot 100 singles rundown with her debut single ‘Bleeding Love’.
The song, which has already topped the chart for six non-consecutive weeks, has held its position at number two for a second week. Lil Wayne has returned to the top of the chart with ‘Lollipop’, which first topped the rundown three weeks ago. Last weeks number one, ‘Take A Bow’ by Rihanna has fallen to number three. The biggest climber on this weeks singles chart is Welsh singer Duffy - who climbs from number sixty-six to twenty-seven with ‘Mercy’. Duffy looks set to match Lewis with success in America after her debut album ‘Rockferry’ debuted on the Billboard Top-200 album chart earlier this week at four.
