Aerosmith Frontman Steven Tyler 'Checks Into Rehab'

May 22, 2008
Aerosmith Frontman Steven Tyler 'Checks Into Rehab'Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith, has reportedly admitted himself into rehab.

Tyler, who has advocated sobriety for two decades, has sought treatment for an unspecified substance abuse problem at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital in Los Angeles, according to celebrity website TMZ.

The report comes less than a month after the singer played a charity concert in Hollywood for an organisation that helps addicts in the music industry.

A spokesperson for Tyler is yet to comment on the website’s claims.

Aerosmith are best known for their elaborate rock’n’roll music in the 1970s, which included the hits ‘Walk This Way’ and ‘Back In The Saddle’.
