The 2008 Ivor Novello Awards take place in London later today (May 22nd) with Radiohead and Amy Winehouse amongst the nominated acts.

The prestigious awards, which take place at the Grosvenor Hotel, recognise songwriters and composers across a wide range of musical genres.

Winehouse has received three nominations, including two in the Best Song Musically & Lyrically category, for ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ and ‘You Know I’m No Good’.

Her track ‘Rehab’ is also nominated for Best Selling British Track of the last 12 months.

Radiohead have been nominated for their latest album ‘In Rainbows’, while Kate Nash and Klaxons will go head-to-head in the Best Song category.
