Pete Doherty 'Strangled And Assaulted By Former Girlfriend In New Video'May 7, 2008
A new Babyshambles video, which shows frontman Pete Doherty being strangled and assaulted by his former girlfriend, has been posted online.
The video for the song, which features the model Irina Lazareanu, appeared online following the singer’s release from prison yesterday (May 6th). In the video, Lazareanu can be seen strangling Doherty with a tie before stomping on him in Hotel France Albion. The song, entitled ‘Maybelline’, is expected to feature on the new Babyshambles album. Speaking to Gigwise last month, the band’s drummer Adam Ficek revealed that the group’s second album was ready to record following Doherty’s incarceration. Babyshambles will play a last minute show at The Forum in Kentish Town, London next Tuesday (May 13th). You can watch the video for ‘Maybelline’ HERE.
