David Bowie has called The Last Shadow Puppets’ cover of his song 'In The Heat Of The Morning' a “delight”.

The band, which is the side-project of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and Rascals frontman Miles Kane, will release the cover as the b-side to their debut single.

Writing on his website, Bowie described the cover as “lovely” and “a daymaker.”

The Last Shadow Puppets’ new single, ‘The Age Of The Understatement’, is released on April 14th.
