Van Halen Reschedule Reunion Dates For 'Medical Tests'March 4, 2008
Van Halen have been forced to postpone four reunion shows because guitarist Eddie Van Halen “is undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests”.
Shows in Dallas, Cincinnati, Raleigh and Baltimore, which were due to take place this week, have now been moved to April. A statement on the band’s website said that Eddie Van Halen's physician was working “to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures.” Fans have been told to keep hold of their tickets for the rescheduled dates or request a refund from their original point of purchase. The long-awaited reunion shows were postponed last year after Eddie Van Halen was admitted into rehab. As previously reported, the reformed Van Halen does not include original bass player Michael Anthony. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Van Halen Recording New Album With David Lee Roth (10.08.2010)
