Gossip are to release a live CD and DVD, which includes covers of songs by Wham and Aaliyah, filmed during a performance in Liverpool last year.

‘Gossip: Live In Liverpool’, which is released on April 14th, will include the whole live show and bonus footage.

The band’s performances of Wham’s ‘Careless Whisper’ and Aaliyah’s ‘Are You That Somebody’ will feature on both the CD and DVD.

The film was shot by Lance Bangs, who has previously worked with Kanye West, Pavement and R.E.M.

Meanwhile, Gossip are understood to be working on the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Standing In The Way Of Control’.
