Alicia Keys Announces London Royal Albert Hall GigApril 13, 2011
Alicia Keys has announced details of a special one-off gig in London to mark the 10th anniversary of her debut album 'Songs In A Minor'.
The US singer will perform the album accompanied only by her piano at the Royal Albert Hall on June 13. Dubbed Piano & I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys, the singer will also discuss the stories behind the entire album with fans. "I can't think of a better way to celebrate the 10th anniversary of songs in A minor, than by holding a special, intimate concert for my fans," said Keys. "It's my absolute favorite way to perform. There is something so special about just me on my piano connecting with the audience. It brings me back to the very beginning when I could only perform with a keyboard and to now be able take it back to the essence of who I am with this show, it is so exciting." Meanwhile, Keys is set to release a 10th Anniversary Deluxe and Collector's Edition of 'Songs In A Minor' on June 27. Tickets go on sale on Friday (April 15) at 9am.
