Glasvegas Respond To James Allan Overdose ReportsMarch 8, 2011
![]() On Tuesday (March 8), Allan was quoted by The Sun as saying that the real reason the band cancelled several US tour dates in 2009 was due to him taking a drugs overdose. At the time, the dates were axed so Allan could recover from what his record label said was "exhaustion and dehydration". But he told the paper: "It's funny the fancy names people come up with when somebody has an overdose." Responding to the story, Glasvegas issued a statement on their Twitter page assuring fans that they were “well looked after and looking after ourselves.” The statement added: “The Sun story was a long time ago! (circa 2009!).” Glasvegas release their new album ‘Euphoric///Heartbreak\\\’ next month. (by Jason Gregory) See also: |
