The New York band will make their anticipated return in Spring with new album 'Nine Types Of Light', reports Pitchfork.

The band's fifth album will be their first release since 2008's 'Dear Science'. Tv On The Radio have been on a short hiatus after frontman Dave Sitek launched his solo project Maximum Balloon.

No further details have been released but the band will play a comeback show at New York's Radio City Music Hall on April 13.
