Lady Gaga's wants her forthcoming perfume to smell of “blood and semen”, according to reports.

Fashion blog Fashionista.com claims the singer has made the request to the company who are creating the product.

Reports that Lady Gaga was set to launch a perfume, purportedly entitled Monster, first emerged last year. The fragrance will apparently arrive in 2012.

The singer is set to join an illustrious list of names, including Britney Spears and Beyonce, who have all released fragrances.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga will release her new album 'Born This Way' in May. The same-titled single will be released on February 13 - the same day the singer will perform at the Grammy Awards.
