Nicki Minaj had to cancel one of her surprise appearances at a London club last night (January 20).

The US rapper, who is in the country on a promotional trip, was unable to make the second of her appearances after the venue was deemed unsafe, The Sun reports.

Nicki Minaj tweeted: "Had a blast @ Oceana! Security issues are now preventing us from entering Runway..."

The rapper caused hysteria when she arrived at Heathrow airport earlier this week after she posted her arrival time on the social-networking website.

Minaj's debut album 'Pink Friday' was released in November last year.
