Timbaland has revealed that he is keen to work with Disney star Demi Lovato.

The producer, whose credits include songs by Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, outlined his plans in a video message on YouTube.

"Demi, I'm so...I'm sitting here looking. Man, I'm just like, 'Wow.' You are amazing, girl," he said, before revealing that he had already written a track for the 18-year-old.

"I'm going to play a song that we did just for you," he said.

"It ain't finished. It don't have my stamp of knockness to it yet. I'm playing a song just for you, only for you. Are you ready? It goes something like this. I wrote this for you."

As well as a series of acting credits, Lovato, 18, has also released two studio albums – the most recent of which, 2008's 'Here We Go Again', topped the US Billboard chart.
