Cradle of Filth's frontman has been banned from a recent poll for being inappropriate.

Danny Filth was removed from the poll to find the most iconic image of Suffolk after deemed inappropriate by organisers.

People were asked to submit their favourite 'Suffolk Icons' of landscapes, people or products from the county.

A photograph of The Cradle of Filth singer came top with over 13,025 votes but was removed from the final 20 by organisers.

"While some of the images on the site may have gained a larger proportion of visitors' votes, the panel felt their list of finalists displays the required credentials to act as representative iconic images of Suffolk," Tim Passmore, chairman of Choose Suffolk, said.

Cradle Of Filth will begin their huge US tour in Houston on February 1.
