Wham's 'Last Christmas' Most Downloaded Christmas Song EverDecember 8, 2010
Wham's 'Last Christmas' has become the most downloaded Christmas song ever, it has been revealed.
The 1984 hit, written by George Michael, has topped a poll beating other Christmas favourites. The figures, collected by the OVI music store placed 'Last Christmas' top, followed by Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas' and Band Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas'. Meanwhile, Take That and Michael Jackson are set to do battle in the race to top this year's Christmas album chart. The boy band's comeback album with Robbie Williams, entitled 'Progress', is currently at number one. (by Holly Frith) See also: Wham Score 'Most Played Christmas Song' Honour (28.11.2008)
