Lily Allen Calls Journalist 'C*nt' Over Marriage ClaimsNovember 28, 2010
Lily Allen has launched an attack against a journalist who claimed the star was planning to overcome the recent loss of her baby by getting married.
The singer, who suffered a miscarriage in October, hit out at the Daily Mail’s Katie Nicholl on Twitter today (November 28). In her column, Nicholl had quoted a source as saying that Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper had “loose plans” to marry before she lost their baby, “but nothing concrete was in motion”. However, a friend of the singer reportedly said that the pair had “realised through their grief that they absolutely adore one another and cannot live without each other”. Responding to Nicholl’s claims, Allen wrote: “Katie Nicholl I THINK you're a c*nt, leave me out of your shitty column, you know nothing about the intimate details of my life. “There’s a time and a place for your musings I'm concerned, and it's not now.” Allen and boyfriend Sam Cooper announced the singer's pregnancy in August. It is the second time that Allen has suffered a miscarriage. She was also treated in hospital for blood poisoning earlier this month.
