Donovan has announced that he will be performing his 1996 album 'Sunshine Superman' in its entirety in London next year.

Joined by The London Contemporary Orchestra, Donovan will appear at The Royal Albert Hall on June 3.

The one-off gig is due to the request of his wife, as an anniversary present.

Donovan said: "This year of 2010 Linda and I celebrate our ruby anniversary. When I asked my muse what she wanted to do, she said, 'Perform the complete 'Sunshine Superman' album at the Royal Albert Hall.' Her wish is my command!"
