Foo Fighters are in talks to headline next year's T In The Park festival in Scotland, according to reports.

The US band are due to play two UK dates in Milton Keynes next summer, but are also thought to be looking at festivals.

"T in the Park is in the frame, though there will also be the temptation to try to get the band to stage a major stadium date in their own right in Scotland, if promoters feel there is the market for it,” a source told the Daily Record.

Biffy Clyro are also said to be in contention to top the bill at the festival at Balado near Kinross.

Foo Fighters are due to release a new album next year, singer Dave Grohl has confirmed.
