Pete Doherty To Sing On Carl Barat's Solo Album?August 20, 2010
Carl Barat wants his Libertines bandmate Pete Doherty to sing on his self-titled debut solo album, it's been reported.
Barat is apparently keen for Doherty to perform on the song 'So Long, My Lover', which tells the story of a break-up. "It's really brutally honest and a truthful telling of a time - I hope people can relate to it,” Barat told The Sun. The report comes despite promo copies of the album arriving without Doherty's vocals on the song. Meanwhile, The Libertines are set to perform a one-off show in London next Wednesday (August 25). The recently reformed band are then scheduled to perform at the Reading and Leeds festivals next weekend. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Carl Barat Speaks About Future Of The Libertines (27.04.2011)
