Jedward will enter the running to represent Ireland at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, their manager Louis Walsh has confirmed. The former X Factor twins - real names John and Edward Grimes - are expected to compete against four other Irish hopefuls. 
Dire Straits hit song ‘Money For Nothing’ has been censored in Canada - over 25 years after it was released. The Canadian Broadcast Standards Council said it was too offensive for Canadian broadcasts because it includes the word “f*ggot” three times. 
The opening of the new Spider-Man musical, which features music by U2, has been delayed again. The curtains on the Broadway production were due to come up in February, but ongoing problems during previews have pushed the opening back until March.

SSR, one of the UK’s leading audio engineering and music production schools, is offering a scholarship named after singer Ian Brown. The £10,000 scholarship will pay the fees for SSR’s flagship Audio Engineering Techniques and Technology course in London. 
Broadcast frontwoman Trish Keenan has died, her record label has confirmed. The singer died at 9am this morning (January 14) in hospital from complications with pneumonia.
