Empire Of The Sun's Nick Littlemore has been missing in action for five months, band mate Luke Steele has revealed. 29-year-old Steele, who is also the singer of The Sleepy Jackson, says he will be performing upcoming shows in the duo's native Australia solo. 
Editors, Lostprophets, Florence & The Machine and The Maccabees are amongst the names confirmed for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions later this autumn. Hosted by Jo Whiley, the charity shows will once again take place at Islington's Union Chapel in North London from November 16-25. 
An official exhibition of Michael Jackson memorabilia is to go on display at the O2 Arena in London. It will be open to the public on October 29 and run until January 31. 
Musicians at the centre of a disagreement over how to solve the problem of illegal file-sharing will meet at a summit in London on Thursday. A row has arisen between the Featured Artists' Coalition (FAC), which includes stars of Radiohead and Blur, and a rival group led by Lily Allen. 
Marilyn Manson battled through a show in Montreal last night (September 22) despite being diagnosed with swine flu a day earlier. The 40-year-old rocker - real name Brian Hugh Warner - made the swine flu confession on his Myspace page on Monday. 
Eminem's music publisher has filed a lawsuit against Apple claiming it never granted the company's iTunes store the right to sell the rapper's 93 songs. Lawyers for Eight Mile Style LLC believe Apple wrongfully acquired $2.5million from iTunes downloads, which included a large sum for Eminem's hit 'Lose Yourself'. 
Richard Hawley has been added to the line up for this year's BBC Electric Proms. The Sheffield singer will support Dame Shirley Bassey at the Roundhouse on October 23. 
A new Michael Jackson song, entitled 'This Is It', is to be released on October 12, it's been announced. The single, which includes vocals from Jackson's brothers, will also feature on an two-disc album of the same name, which is due out on October 28.
