Mariah Carey is still That Girl, but her album won't be titled that anymore. The singer said in a statement Tuesday (February 12) that her upcoming album, will now be called E=MC2 instead of the previously announced That Girl. The forthcoming 11th studio album, the follow-up to her critic-approved The Emancipation of Mimi, is due April 15 on Island Def Jam. 
Radiohead have another album coming out this year, and they're not happy about it. According to a post on fan site AtEase.com, their former label, EMI, is slated to release a greatest-hits package to coincide with the band's upcoming tour. Guitarist Ed O'Brien said, "They're planning to do a greatest-hits for April/May to coincide with our tour. That's an interesting one. We won't be doing any promotion for that, obviously." 
The Mars Volta have sketched out plans for an upcoming tour in support of The Bedlam in Goliath, which debuted, astonishingly, at #3 on Billboard albums chart last week. 
Lenny Kravitz was rushed to an emergency room in Miami on Monday, suffering from severe bronchitis. Since mid-January, Kravitz, 43, had been struggling with a series of severe respiratory-tract infections and the flu, which evolved into bronchitis, according to Reuters. 
It's a slow news day when a singer shopping for a dress makes the news. But then again, this is no ordinary singer, this is Britney Spears. Ever since her well-publicized breakdowns, Britney stalkers have been following her every time she leaves the house in hope of a headline. 
The Police - Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland - will play another 30-odd dates in May and July in North America, with 15 previously announced European concerts sandwiched between in June. Elvis Costello & the Imposters will open the entire run of North American dates, which wraps the first week in August. 
Muse will headline the V Festival this summer, it has been confirmed. They are the first act to be announced for the gathering, which takes place on split sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire.
