Rolf Harris Opens Glastonbury 2010 With Led Zeppelin CoverJune 25, 2010
Rolf Harris has opened this year's Glastonbury festival with a performance on the Pyramid Stage.
The veteran Australian performer attracted a huge crowd as temperatures soared in Somerset. Gigwise correspondent Andrew Almond said Harris told fans that he had lost his voice last week and was originally doubtful for the event. He also joked during his set that his Didgeridoo was louder than the vuvuzela horns that have been used by fans at this year's World Cup in South Africa. Harris closed his set on the Pyramid Stage with a cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway To Heaven'. (by Jason Gregory) See also: Rolf Harris And Kate Bush Record Irish Song Together (01.07.2010)
