Slash has announced details of a series of tour dates across the UK and Ireland this summer.

The shows, in support of the guitarist’s new solo album, will begin in Dublin on June 29.

Slash will also play gigs in Belfast (June 30), Edinburgh (July 1) and Manchester (3).

The Velvet Revoler star’s self-titled debut solo album was released earlier this month.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Wednesday (May 12) at 9am.

Slash’s UK and Ireland dates are:

• Dublin, Vicar Street - June 29
• Belfast, Mandela Hall - 30
• Edinburgh, Picture House - July 1
• Manchester, Academy - 3
