Gogol Bordello have announced that their new album 'Trans-Continental Hustle' will be released on April 27.

The 13-track record, which is the follow-up to 2007's 'Super Taranta!', has been produced by Rick Rubin.

Frontman Eugene Hutz said his songwriting and the album's sound had been inspired by his move from New York to Brazil two years ago.

“Rick inspired us to focus on the very soul entity of the song,” said Hutz. “He inspires confidence to always do your best and mature work.”

Meanwhile, the group have also announced details of a UK tour, which begins in London on May 7.

The five-date jaunt also includes gigs in Manchester (8) and Birmingham (11).
