Kate Nash has embraced punk music and sixties girl group music on her upcoming second album, the singer was revealed.
The 22-year-old Londoner says the new sounds comes with “being older” and she has “grown up a lot.” She told the Daily Star: “When I first got involved in music, I thought about it differently. It is so much more than one good song. Sixties girl groups, Riot Grrrl rock and punk influence me. So my influences have changed.” The record, tentatively titled 'Crayon Full Of Colour', is scheduled for release later this year. Tracks include 'Doo-wah Do', 'I Hate Seagulls', 'Don't You Want to Share the Guilt', 'Paris' and 'Kiss that Girl'. (by Scott Colothan) See also: Kate Nash: 'I Don't Respect The X Factor' (25.01.2011)
