Susan Boyle Faces Brit Awards Nominations SnubJanuary 18, 2010
Susan Boyle has reportedly been snubbed by The Brit Awards and will not be amongst the nominations when they are unveiled in London later tonight.
Despite chalking up the biggest selling album of 2009 in the UK, the Daily Mail reports that SuBo isn't “cool enough” for The Brits and won't receive any nods. A source said: “She's not even shortlisted for Best Female, even though that's usually the weakest category. ‘And it's not just an attack on Susan. It also shows how Simon Cowell is regarded by many in the record business.” The shortlist was picked by over 1,000 record industry professionals and will be unveiled in at London's IndigO2 tonight. Lady Gaga, Kasabian, Cheryl Cole, Dizzee Rascal, Florence & The Machine, JLS and Robbie Williams will all perform live at the Brits ceremony at Earls Court on February 16th.
