Beyonce will also perform during the ceremony, as well as air the video to her new single, 'Video Phone', which features Lady GaGa. The singer leads the nominations with four nods, including Best Female and Best Song. Lady GaGa, meanwhile, will face off against La Roux, Pixie Lott, Taylor Swift and Daniel Merriweather for Best New Act. Other nominees include Muse, who are up for Best Alternative Act, and Coldplay. Perry, who is currently dating comedian Russell Brand, is returning to host the awards ceremony for a second year running.
