Lady GaGa: 'Kanye West Tour Will Be Most Groundbreaking In History'August 11, 2009
Lady GaGa has said her forthcoming co-headlining tour with Kanye West will be “one of the most groundbreaking moments in touring history”.
The singer is due to join West on a full North American tour this autumn. In an interview with the BBC, Lady GaGa said she had enjoyed working on ideas with the rapper and was looking forward to the start of the venture. “I love Kanye. Kanye is my very dear friend and we are creative kindreds,” she said. “It's been fun to work on the design of the tour with him - we're finishing each other's sentences. "It's going to be one of the most ground breaking moments in touring history. I am sure of it.” West described Lady GaGa as “incredible” when he announced the tour during an appearance on US television in June. The dates for the jaunt have yet to be officially confirmed.
