Michael Jackson Died With 'Lethal Levels' Of Heroin Subsititute In BodyJuly 13, 2009
Michael Jackson died with a dangerous level of drugs in his body, including heroin substitute methadone, it's claimed today.
The Sun has published details of a preliminary toxicology report which shows the King of Pop had enough drugs in his system to kill an average person. It's believed that Jackson's body had become used to the vast cocktail of legal narcotics following a lengthy period of substance abuse. On top of lethal levels of methadone, Jackson also had deadly levels of powerful painkiller Demerol and very high amounts of anti-anxiety drug Xanax. The report also states that Jackson had a significant amount of anaesthetic Propofol in his system, plus lower levels of Vicodin, Valium, Ambien, Fentanyl and Propofol. A source told the paper: “Michael Jackson was a walking drug store when he died — he never stood a chance. Tests showed that as well as Demerol and methadone, he had taken four more painkillers and anaesthetics plus anti-anxiety pills. “This is sure to increase pressure on police to establish exactly how one man obtained so many prescription medications — and which doctors were responsible. “There is increasing talk of manslaughter charges if it can be shown he was given drugs without proper regard for his safety.” Police, who haven't ruled out murder or manslaughter as the cause for Jackson's death, will investigate when the final toxicology reports have been filed in several weeks time.
