Lily Allen continued her promotional onslaught in the US with an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night (February 16).

The singer has secured slots on a number of high-profile shows including The Today Show, last night's Jay Leno and an upcoming appearance on Oprah Winfrey in a bid to take her album, 'It's Not Me, It's You' to the top spot Stateside.

Meanwhile, fresh from berating Mike Skinner, Lily became involved in a very public slanging match with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on Twitter yesterday.

The pair got their handbags out and exchanged hilarious verbal blows for a good half hour, before Lily deleted Perez as a follower.

At one point, Perez berated the singer by saying: “Congrats on your album doing well in America, though. It's REALLY HARD to sell copies when u discount it to $3.99. Desperate!”

Lily responded with: “Its also number one everywhere else in the world douchebag. Go away you little parasite.”

Resembling a school playing-ground bust-up, Perez later called Lily a “big fat c*nt" just like himself.
