 US rappers Jay-Z and 50 Cent are among the top earning African American stars.
Jay-Z came third in Forbes annual countdown with estimated earnings of $83million between June 2007 and June 2008. 50 Cent was fourth, earning an estimated $33million in the same period thanks to his wide-ranging business portfolio, which includes a clothing line and video game series. The list was topped by TV star Orpah Winfrey, who earned a reported $260million, while golfer Tiger Woods came second on $100million.
