Lil' Wayne's New Rock Single Leaks OnlineJanuary 27, 2009
US rapper Lil' Wayne's new single, 'Prom Queen', has leaked online.
The song, which is the rapper's first rock single, had been due to receive it's official first play today (January 27th) on MySpace. However, copies of the track emerged on a number of file-sharing websites early yesterday morning (January 26th). As part of a deal with AT&T, the rapper will perform 'Prom Queen' live for the first time at a concert in San Diego tomorrow (January 28th). The concert will be broadcast live on Mobile Music Facebook pages from 9:40pm (PST). As previously reported, 'Prom Queen' is the first single from Lil' Wayne's forthcoming rock album 'Rebirth'. The rapper's change in direction is thought to have been inspired by Kanye West's recent decision to start singing.
