Take That have announced details of a 2009 UK stadium tour, which begins in Sunderland on June 6th.

The eight date tour includes a three night residency in Manchester and two nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

In a statement, Take That, who reformed in 2005, said the tour was their way of saying thanking “everyone for their support and loyalty over the past three years.”

The announcement comes less than a week after Oasis sold out a massive stadium tour in record breaking time.

Their dates next summer also include performances in Manchester and London.
