Nick Cave To Present 2008 Turner PrizeOctober 17, 2008
Nick Cave will announce the winner of this year's Turner Prize at a ceremony in London, it's been announced.
The singer will present the award for contemporary art at Tate Britain on December 1st. Madonna and actor Dennis Hopper have both announced the winner in the past. Four artists - Goshka Macuga, Runa Islam, Mark Leckey and Cathy Wilkes - are vying for this year's Turner Prize. The exhibition includes a mannequin perched on the toilet, Homer Simpson and images of a woman smashing tea cups on a floor.
