US R&B star Usher is to play an intimate tour where the audience will consist entirely of his female fans.

The ladies only tour, which will call at 15 venues, will promote his number one album 'Here I stand'.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Usher said his female fans can expect to see plenty of his “masculine build".

"I feel like I've had such a connection with my audience. This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate,” he said.

Usher, who is married, recently re-hired his mother as his worldwide manager.
